My first Conscious Astral Projection
Lets start out by saying that whether knowingly or unknowingly, everyone astral projects. The unknowing astral projectors or what I have dubbed "UAP'S", (Unknowing Astral Projectors), fall into the category of the unconscious sleeper who UAP'S without any knowledge that the phenomena is happening.
Now I have been studying & practicing astral projection since about 2011. I have had many journeys into the astral planes and beyond. However, this is where I differ from UAP'S, as I am "CAP" (Consciously Astral Projecting), meaning I am fully aware of what I'm doing and where I want to go.
My first CAP occurred back in 2011 I finally managed to pull off my first Astral Projection. I was living with my sister at the time because I had recently separated from my ex-wife and was in the process of healing and moving on. This for me I think was part of the catalyst for my first CAP because it left me vulnerable and open to things that I may not have been conscious enough to perceive at first.
Now I had been studying into AP for some time with some experimentation and different techniques but to no avail, except this one night for some reason; I finally found a breathing technique that got me relaxed enough to project into the Astral Plane. I put on some Music which oddly enough it was a trance band called "Astral Projection", the song being "People Can Fly". I put on headphones and laid down on my bed. On each breath in, I would count to 5 in my head and then exhale I repeated this process until my breathing became second nature. I focused my eyes on the center of my fore head, with my eyes still closed in an attempt to open my third eye. Amazingly this process worked! I began to see a multitude of colors as pressure began to build in the center of my forehead; moments later it was as if my soul was being ripped right out of my physical body as I began to rise through a tunnel of light that surrounded my body. At first it was bright white but soon it became like a prism of colors that engulfed my entire body. My soul turned to look back at my body and I realized that my soul was actually attached to my physical body with a cord that ran to my head. After later research it was revealed to me that this cord is called "Silver Cord" and it is the connection between the physical body and the astral body or soul. As my journey continued, I found myself out in space at the edges of the universe gazing back at all that is.
As my experience began to come to an end, I felt a sensation of returning to my body and suddenly I slammed back into myself so hard that I literally felt myself shake the bed. I woke up and went into the living room where my sister was sitting. Although I was projecting in my bedroom, she said that she seen what appeared to be me sneaking around the house just minutes before. I not only had experienced astral projection, but I had an outside witness, who said that they saw me while I was leaving my body.
